1. List the things of beauty mentioned in the poem.
Ans: The poet John Keats has described a lot of things that are of beauty in the poem. According to him, a thing of beauty is something that gives us happiness which remains with us for good. It provides us liveliness and a sleep filled with pleasant dreams and never ceases to exist. He has mentioned the sun, the moon, the old and young trees which gives shades to the simple sheep among such thing of beauty. Besides these, the daffodils living in the green world and the clear rills of water that serve as a "cooling covert" in the hot season for themselves are also included by the poet in the list of the things of beauty. Lastly, he mentioned the "mid forest brake " among which beautiful roses keep blooming providing a splendid view as a thing of beauty.
2. List the things that cause suffering and pain.
Ans: The causes that brings suffering and pain to human beings are many. The suffering and pain are the consequences of the lack of goodness and noble qualities in us. Dejection and gloomy days are also one of the source of our pain. They are also the result of our unhealthy ways and evil doings. All these causes dampen our spirit.
3. What does the line, ' Therefore are we wreathing a flowery band to bind us to earth' suggest to you?
Ans: The line mentioned suggests us that the beauthiful worldy things binds us to the earth with their beauties inspite of all sorrow and misery. It raises our spirit and makes us forget the sadness that surrounds us.
4. What makes human beings love life in spite of troubles and sufferings?
Ans: There are lots of troubles and sufferings in a human being's life but still we love life because inspite of all such hindrances there are things of beauty that cheers up our mood and brings livveliness in our lives. It pulls us out from the darkness and gloominess of life. The spirit of human that gets dampenend and depressed is made joyous by the beautiful things.
5. Why is 'grandeur' associated with the 'mighty dead' ?
Ans: People who have done great deeds in their lifetime are considered the mighty dead by the poet. These brave men lived a life that is inspirational and their stories gives us the confidence and boosts up our moral. Their sacrifices and achievements are grandeur. That is why grandeur is associated with the mighty dead.
6. Do we experience things of beauty only for short moments or do they make a lasting impression on us?
Ans: Things of beauty are joy forever as said by the poet, John Keats, they do make a lasting impression on us. They never fade away and their loveliness increases day by day. The joy acheived through them makes us cheerful and shower sleeps filled with beautiful dreams on us. The pall of sadness that dampens our spirit is taken away by their positive impact.

Ans: The image of an endless fountain of immortal drink is used by the poet John Keats to describe the beautiful bounty of the earth. The poet has compared all thing of beauty with the immortal drink. These immortal drink is poured on us from the heaven which comes from an endless fountain.
